Once your installation appointment has been scheduled, your physical installation should take between 2 to 4 hours depending on the complexity of the installation. As part of the fibre installation, a Wi-Fi enabled ONT will be installed.

Ensure CPE is powered up and lights are showing on the device. Then connect a LAN/ Ethernet cable from a WAN port on your fibre router to your computer OR connect wirelessly to the routers network (the 2.5 GHz or 5 GHz one) and the password will be written on a sticker underneath it..

If you're not into TV streaming, online gaming or downloading and uploading big files, a 10mbps line will do, but if you're internet-hungry you may want a much faster internet connection at 50 or even 100Mbps.

We build the fibre from the street to your property and connect it to a small box installed on the outside of your house called an external termination point (ETP). If your existing copper phone line is connected by aerial cable or an underground pipe, we usually install your fibre cable in the same way.

50Mbps over fibre connection is a reliable speed for multiple users and even high demand environments. If you do not have more than 10 users in your space, it could be fast enough for a variety of different services problem free. 50 Mbps fiber connectivity will sustain up multiple users with high demand.
